Credo And A Hiatus

As Governor Palin has advised she intends to spend the primary season campaigning for Congressional and presidential candidates that invalidates the original premise of this site "Palin4President 2016. In respect of the current title "Palin-ism in The Presidency 2016" the premise becomes more of a philosophical one and I have decided it is best covered at my general blog "A Point of View" where it fits in better with overall political/economic/philosophical matters.

This is/never was a "fan site" although I have enjoyed over the years presenting interesting coverage of the Palin family and their adventures. Further there is little point  in cutting and pasting such things from other sites as they are readily accessed at the original laces like 'Conservatives4Palin" Breitbart and etc.

I will leave this site up as there are hundreds of visitors daily to the archives and I trust they find the reference items of value. If matters change with Governor Palin I will of course renew the original title. With all this I am delighted that Governor Palin seems to be in a very happy space doing what she seems to enjoy most of all which is helping others and presenting her Christian based values to the wider public.

It's a pleasure to see she has outlasted all the haters and genuinely mad alleged humans who have taken out their frustration with their unhappy lives, physical appearance and failures on someone who is so happy, healthy  wealth and living a life of excitement and adventure! Not bad for a fisherman's wife from a small town in the far reaches of Alaska!

Here is my credo on the matter;

This site is not absolutely about Sarah Palin regardless of the Blog title. Of course I, and I am sure a massive number of others, judging by her Facebook followers being over 3 million, would wish her to run in 2016.

But Palin is only one person, and a person with massive family commitments, especially with Trig of course. It may be that she has developed a taste for the freedom from financial constraints and from media criticism worries, and is happy to enjoy the rest of her life in comfort and ease.

If so, good for her. Surely nobody else in public life has endured the slings and arrows of outrageous leftism over the last seven years and would be entitled to such a respite as her skills and endurance has gained for her.

There are of course many options for public involvement open to her. She will be in demand as public speaker for some time yet as an historic figure at least.

Palin can of course continue endorsing and campaigning for candidates she considers it important to do so. Her influence as an endorser is undiminished as e.g Ted Cruz in Texas will testify Sasse and Fischer in Nebraska etc etc can testify.

But even if none of these options appeal to her (which I doubt) this blog would change from Palin4President2016 to "Palin-ism In The Presidency 2016". No matter how great or influential and correct a person's political, social and economic  ideas and ideals are, they will outlive their originator if they have lasting value.

The "common sense conservatism" policies that Sarah Palin espouses and exemplifies, are lasting if not timeless and will be her legacy no matter what her personal future holds. An outline of  what she, and this site stands for are
AT THIS LINK

In the meantime, unless or until Palin herself  advises she will cease any activism which might lead her to make a run for office, the blog title will stay as it is. Should she decide to leave the political scene then a simple change of emphasis from the person to the policies the person espoused will suffice.

If Palin chooses not to run in 2016 but endorses a candidate
enthusiastically then, in that person "Palin-ism in the Presidency" comes into effect. Thus, in effect, Palin herself is the candidate and can be said to be running.

As for myself I have enormously enjoyed writing about Palin for all these years, don't regret a moment of it (except for having at times to dialogue with obsessed idiots from the likes of "Immoral Minority.) I have through this site honed my writing ability, such as it is and have had many articles published at major avenues.

Most of all I've enjoyed the company of many wonderful, intelligent and dedicated people and for that above all I thank Governor Palin.

From Breitbart's Kevin Scholla;"PALIN WOMEN MASTERFULLY CALL OUT ERICK ERICKSON, FOX NEWS ON TRUMP-KELLY FLAP

From the brilliant Kevin Scholla at Breitbart

PALIN WOMEN MASTERFULLY CALL OUT ERICK ERICKSON, FOX NEWS ON TRUMP-KELLY FLAP

After being disinvited from a RedState event over the weekend, Donald Trump called RedState’s Erick Erickson “a major sleaze and buffoon who has saved me time and money.” The Donald may be on to something.

Erickson, a RINO on steroids could best be described with an old Ralph Kramden line. “I’ve seen some hypocrites in my day but he is the hippiest critic I have ever seen,” Jackie Gleason once quipped on The Honeymooners. Now Erickson’s latest comments are being taken to task by Bristol Palin and her mom, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. The two completely expose the ridiculousness that is political correctness with a big Bang, Zoom.
In her popular blog, Bristol Palin blasts Fox News for its Republican presidential debates last week and she chides Erickson for calling Trump a sexist.
Palin wrote: “It’s official. I used to use this blog to point out how liberals use the ‘outrage industry’ to manipulate people and keep their power. Now Republicans are just as bad.”
By now you’ve undoubtedly heard that there’s a guy named Erick Erickson, of RedState, who disinvited Donald Trump from a gathering of conservatives because, as he put it, “there are even lines blunt talkers and unprofessional politicians should not cross. Decency is one of those lines.” Erickson bumped Trump from the event after a war of words between Mr. Trump and Fox News host Megyn Kelly.
After the second GOP debate Thursday, Trump said, “you could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her whatever.” Some took that as a dig at Kelly’s menstrual cycle. Erickson used it as an excuse to dump Trump. Kelly, a former guest on Howard Stern’s program, who also posed for pictures in GQ magazine while scantily clad was suddenly the poster woman for the fictitious war on women.
That liberal logic was picked apart masterfully by Palin. She wrote : Want to learn some “lessons in sexual and political decency” from Erickson? Here are three:
Palin listed just a sample of Erickson’s hypocritical comments and actions over the years. His use of a fake picture of her mother wearing a revealing shirt with Santa Claus, his profanity laced description of Supreme Court Justice David Souter, and a tweet from 2007 in which Erickson seemed to get his kicks off of Trump bashing Rosie O’Donnell on Fox–one of the very things Trump was slammed for in the recent GOP debate.
Palin also gave specific examples of Fox hypocrisy. She ripped the network for host Chris Wallace joking about hoping Sarah Palin would sit on his lap, and included a quote from Fox News President Roger Ailes in which he said he hired the former vice presidential candidate “because she was hot and got ratings.”
As for that former veep nominee, she is on board with her daughter evidenced by her promotion of Bristol’s Blog through social media. Sarah Palin provided a link to her daughter’s blog on Facebook with the intro of – “Rocks and glass houses don’t go together when you’re playing PC gotcha games, so please spare us the holier than thou routine. Read Bristol’s post on how hypocritical this ‘trumped up’ outrage is.” Both Palin women agree Fox should be ashamed to have asked Mr. Trump about his history of demeaning comments on women during the debate. It’s hard to argue with their commonsense stance.
Bristol Palin’s blog gives a tidy wrap-up of just how ridiculous so many so-called Republicans and “fair and balanced” news outlets have become. “We only have so many opportunities to hear from the fifty million candidates who are apparently running for President. And we get the Fox moderators asking questions that the New York Times applauds?” Palin said. “Please. Let’s don’t use the Democratic ‘war on women’ talking points when we have ISIS to worry about.”
“Fox and Erickson need to get off their high horse on how outraged they are NOW about sexism and decency,” Palin added. “Let’s focus on winning the election, not winning accolades from The New York Times.”
We will surely see and hear plenty more from the PC brigade and “outrage industry” as Palin puts it before the 2016 race is decided, but on this day the score is clear. Mama grizzlies- 1 RINOs- 0.

Gov.Palin Again Defends Trump: "Hypocritical "Trumped Up" Outrage"

From C4P

Rocks and glass houses don’t go together when you’re playing PC gotcha games, so please spare us the holier than thou routine. Read Bristol’s post on how hypocritical this “trumped up” outrage is:http://www.patheos.com/…/the-new-gop-outrage-industry-less…/

The New GOP “Outrage Industry:” Lessons in Decency from Erick Erickson and Fox News

08-10-15_Sarah_Palin_Hypocritical_Trumped_Up_OutrageIt’s official. I used to use this blog to point out how liberals use the “outrage industry” to manipulate people and keep their power. Now Republicans are just as bad.

By now you’ve undoubtedly heard that there’s a guy named Erick Erickson, of RedState, who disinvited Donald Trump from a gathering  of conservatives because, as he put it, “there are even lines blunt talkers and unprofessional politicians should not cross.

Decency is one of those lines.”
Want to learn some “lessons in sexual and political decency” from Erickson?  Here are three:
1.  Erickson’s RedState once used a demeaning fake photo (wearing a revealing shirt with Santa Claus) of my Mom for an attack article on her.  Erickson refused to take it down even after he was made aware that it was photoshopped.

2.  He once called Supreme Court justice David Souter “the only goat f****** child molester to ever serve on the Supreme Court.”
We only have so many opportunities to hear from the fifty million candidates who are apparently running for President.  And we get the Fox moderators asking questions that the New York Times applauds?

Please.  Let’s don’t use the Democratic “war on women” talking points when we have ISIS to worry about.

Mark Levin said the debates were an “embarrassment as far as I’m concerned… while the New York Times and CNN praised the event, I considered it an exploitation of the process, which is supposed to inform the American people.

Not gotcha questions, not gossip… I think the American people are owed an apology.  (read more at Bristol’s Blog)

The Inside Story Governor Sarah Palin paid a quiet visit to the good folks at One America News Network this week.

Governor Sarah Palin paid a quiet visit to the good folks at One America News Network this week.

One America News Network is headquartered in San Diego. This conservative alternative to Fox News has been slowly gaining ground from Fox News viewers.

The first hint of Governor Palin’s visit was innocuous enough.

Nothing more than a simple tweet noticed by long time Palin watcher DeeDEEthree

DeeDEEthree - post

Any mention of Governor Palin in Southern California was reason enough to grab my attention.

Quickly piecing together the few clues in Mr. Roach’s vague tweet led me to San Diego, OANN host Tomi Lahren, and a tantalizing connection to One America News Network.

iizthatiiz - post

By late Tuesday afternoon, all suspicions of Governor Palin’s visit to the One America News facilities in San Diego were solidly confirmed when OANN news anchor Cassie Leuffen revealed that Governor Palin had paid her a visit in studio.

Notions that Governor Palin’s visit with One America News were nothing more than a casual visit were laid to rest the very next day when Palin showed up again at the OANN facility, this time spending time with Assistant Producer Maggie Lit, who was surprised by the Governor’s presence at the network for a second day.

The true purpose of Governor Palin’s extended visit with personnel at One America News remains unknown at this time.

Readers are encouraged to share their thoughts in the comments below.

SARAH PALIN RIPS LOIS LERNER FOR TARGETING BRISTOL

SARAH PALIN RIPS LOIS LERNER FOR TARGETING BRISTOL

Sarah Palin offered a scathing response on Facebook to a new Senate report revealing that Lois Lerner, the director of the IRS’s Exempt Organizations unit, targeted Palin’s daughter Bristol.

Palin wrote, “If 7 years ago I had predicted the Obama administration was targeting my family and all conservatives who posed a threat to their radical agenda you never would have believed me, right? Well….. hmmm:”
Senate Finance Committee Chairman
Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT)
52%
, pointing out one “example of Lerner’s interest in conservative organizations,” named the IRS consideration of auditing Candie’s Foundation, which gave Bristol Palin $332,500 for acting as a celebrity spokesperson. Lerner used the excuse of IRS rules forbidding individuals benefiting from charitable groups to write her staff, “Thoughts on the Bristol Palin issue? I’m asking because I don’t know whether to send to Exam as a referral.” No evidence of an audit of Bristol Palin has been found.
The Senate Finance Committee has spent two years investigating the Internal Revenue Service for its vendetta against conservative groups.
Lerner called conservative radio show hosts and callers “crazies” and “assholes” in 2012 emails. Her political leanings as a Democrat once led her to say of Abraham Lincoln, the first Republican President, “Look my view is that Lincoln was our worst president not our best. He should (have) let the south go. We really do seem to have 2 totally different mindsets.”
When the IRS scandal broke in 2013, Palin was already ahead of the curve. She wrote:
This scandal is not just about the IRS targeting Americans to deny them tax-[exempt] status or subjecting them to harassing retaliatory audits. The IRS also leaked to leftwing reporters the confidential application information submitted by conservative groups. The IRS claims that their leaking of information was “inadvertent and unintentional disclosures by the employees involved.” They at first blamed the entire IRS scandal on a couple of employees who “went rogue,” but we soon found out that this was just more malarkey coming from the president’s spokesman. But even if these were “inadvertent and unintentional disclosures,” is that supposed to make us feel better?
….
These atrocious government actions are bigger, uglier, and much more dangerous than “a few rogue employees.” It’s time for all Americans to stand together and join in the growing outraged chorus that looks at our out-of-control government and says, “Enough is enough!”

"TownHall" Destroys The D.C. Palin/Trump Hate Machine

 John Nantz at Town Hall LINK calls out the Washington elite's mad hatred of Palin and Trump;

Here's an extract:

Donald Trump and Sarah Palin are Washington pariahs. Mention either name and emotions flare into swollen, ruddy passion. Opinions spill interspersed with hurried spittle as commentators struggle to operate their mouths with enough alacrity to keep pace with their emotions masquerading as thought. They gush with spleen at the effrontery of unwashed persons treading the heights of national politics.

Neither Trump nor Palin have been groomed by the Washington gentry. They make a mockery of the powdered wigs ensconced within the establishment media and among the monied party elites—and America loves it.

Sarah Palin’s great sin was her genuine conservatism and total disdain for a pedantic, corrupt, and perverse establishment media. The Republican base rallied to her like Joan of Arc, while the predictably politic John McCain sulked and sat idly as GOP cronies unsheathed their long knives.

The result of that fratricide has been the blight of Obama and his completely corrupt administration. McCain kept to the GOP playbook of “don’t attack Obama” and lost an election that was his to win.

Governor Palin's New Role? "Mother And Conscience Of the Nation"

Posted at Bob Belvedere's "THE CAMP OF THE SAINTS"     LINK

Governor  Palin is the very definition of protean; "versatile" "mutable" "capable of assuming many forms".... "Protean"has positive connotations of flexibility, versatility, and adaptability."

If Palin had been a Democratic party star, her rise from  the most obscure and humble of beginnings would be more than the subject of legend it would be raised to the status of paean, panegyric and hagiography.

Instead of recruiting the assistance of the Hollywood left to create a distorted, cartoon character of "Palin" in the hit job movie "Game Change" if Palin had been the Dem's VP nominee, in a brave but losing cause (trying to support up a McCain like figure whose campaign was beset by financial collapse) instead of a second tier actress like Julianne Moore, a Meryl Streep would have been cast as the heroine.

There would seem to be nothing more unlikely to have ever happened in political life than the small town wife of an oil fields worker in the farthest remove possible location from the power structure in D.C. could become the vice-presidential candidate for a major party. Then, through her sheer force of personality, tied to an unparalleled record of accomplishment in government, lift a losing campaign into the lead until outside economic forces made any further progress impossible.

Palin's protean history is well known. Wife and Mother, then PTA President to Mayor, to Oil & Gas Commission Chairman, to the most popular Governor in America, to star of various television programs. TV pundit, massively successful author, having a mass social media following in the millions.

At the same time a Wife and Mother of five, including a special needs child. Her political power, no matter how much the media wishes to write her off as "irrelevant," has been at its zenith with Congress being slowly but surely populated with her endorsed candidates. In the 2014 mid-terms, 21 of her 23 endorsed candidates were elected, a number of whom owe their primary wins to her support

This is, to any fair minded person who can lay down their political bias for even a moment, an outstanding list of accomplishment, achieved by the bootstrap method, with none of the massive financial backing and media slavishness that others have had-quite the reverse of course.

In recent times Palin appears to have thrown off the happy go lucky persona that was so evident in her "Amazing America" and "Sportsman Chanel" outdoorsy shows. Her latest television appearances have shown a deadly serious, fact presenting, and cogent Palin. This is much to the distress of her critics who have seen the "dumb" meme destroyed with the subject matter discussed in a powerfully and deeply sincere and "gaff free" manner.

What appears to have wrought this "new' Palin is a subject that appears to be close to her heart and which she, with her son Trig standing as a foremost example, has "walked the walk" and that is the protection of the unborn.

Governor Palin has embarked on a crusade of the highest moral and ethical character in her bringing to as many as possible of the wider public the abortion practices of Planned parenthood.

Whilst the MSM has, for the most part studiously ignored the issue, as they did with the abortionist Gosnell, Palin has brought it front and center to millions through her Facebook and Twitter outlets and latterly on Fox television. It is notable that leading the Congressional fight to defund PP are Senators Fischer and Ernst who owe their careers in whole, or in part, to her endorsement.

It may be that Governor Palin will not seek elective office in the foreseeable future and, rather, use her formidable endorsement power to propel the candidate of her choice to the Republican nomination and the presidency.

If that were to be the case it may be considered that she has chosen an office far above the maximum of 8 years of the presidency to one that has its base in immortality  and that is the crusade to save the lives and potential of the unborn. It may be that if this is her path, countless generations will owe their very existence to her work, and the work of those she enthuses in the cause, as well as the work of those who have, and are now, laboring in this field of righteousness.

When considering her own political future at its lowest point Palin said "you don't need a title to make a difference." That may be so in the political field she has so far traversed, but in the far greater field of humanity, saving the innocent and imbuing a corrupted moral culture with a return to sanity and ethical values, Palin can be well considered to have gained the title "Mother and Conscience of the Nation"

With thanks To 'Conservatives for Palin' here are the links to Governor Palin's massive, tireless, personal campaign on behalf of the unborn and against the horrific practice of "partial birth abortion."

UPDATED;FULL INTERVIEW;Sarah Palin Goofing Around On An Escalator With Interviewer "You Look Like Sarah Palin"

UPDATED; FULL INTERVIEW WITH THANKS TO RON DEVITO AT US FOR PALIN

Palin-Palooza with Rusty Humphries

It was a Palin-Palooza with Rusty Humphries, as the former Alaska Governor and her husband, Todd gave a wide-ranging “man in the street” interview at a Phoenix, AZ mall. She doubled down on her praise of Donald Trump and said we need to unify behind one candidate. But, she responded with a “never say never, it’s still early” when asked by Humphries about her own 2016 intentions. This was the same answer she gave to ExtraTV more than two months ago. She spoke about SarahPAC vetting candidates, and said listeners should contact her via the PAC.
The main revelation out of this interview for Palinistas: Todd said he would be racing in next year’s Iron Dog. Humphries said he still hurts and is still vibrating from a snowmachine ride he took decades ago.
Humphries described the Palins as friends. He had dinner with them at the mall and he conducted the interview after the dinner. The non-political teaser generated disgusting vitriol from haters who plagued Humphries’ Facebook Page.

Gov. Palin Notes Alexis de Tocqueville’s 210th Birthday

This past week was Alexis de Tocqueville’s 210th birthday. This brilliant Frenchman’s insight into our national character still rings true nearly two centuries after he wrote his famous book “Democracy in America.”
Ever insightful and prophetic, Tocqueville understood the dangers of big government. He feared that over time big government would strangle the free will of citizens, diminishing our capacity to think and act for ourselves and reducing us to “a herd of timid and industrious animals of which the government is the shepherd.”
But he offered solutions! "He hoped that those having read his prescient book would come to understand… democracy require(s) great attention and careful management. Specifically, he hoped, we would strive ‘to preserve for the individual the little independence, force, and originality’ that remains to him. In other words, when looking at any given policy, our lawmakers might look not at the benefits for their home district, or vainly calculate attention from the next media hit, but rather look at what any given policy proposal’s long-term effect will be on securing freedom and rights. Making individuals stronger, more independent, more able to resist the tyranny of the majority and of a constantly growing administrative state is the goal."
– Sarah P

Mark Whittington At 'The Examiner';"Palin all but endorses Donald Trump for president"

Noted Palin supporter Mark Whittington published an opinion piece at 'The Examiner':

"Sarah Palin all but endorses Donald Trump for president"

Sarah Palin published a piece in Breitbart Friday praising Donald Trump and giving the media the back of her hand for not only underestimating the business tycoon and media star but also for being afraid of him. Thus continued the most curious political friendship in American history. The multi-billionaire real estate mogul and the hockey mom mama grizzly from Alaska have very little in common, except a political philosophy and a tendency to go rogue and annoy a great many people. It is the most fascinating alliance since President Ronald Reagan and Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher teamed up and helped to destroy the Soviet Union while turning up the special relationship between America and Great Britain into high gear.
 Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump

Palin’s endorsement, and it amounted to that though she never said, “I endorse Trump for President,” came on the heels of Trump expressing his admiration for Palin and suggesting that she might be in his government when (not “if” in his view) he wins the president. This love fest between the two unlikely pols caused Geoffrey Dunn, the author of a hit piece book against Palin, to leap the length of his chain.
Dunn, who has made a full-time career out of Palin-hating, concluded that Trump’s endorsement of Palin is proof positive that Trump is not serious about becoming president. He regards both politicians as the return of Huey Long and Joe McCarthy.
The problem is that neither Trump nor Palin quite match the caricatures that their enemies tend to make of them. Trump is bombastic and loud, but he is a multi-billionaire and frontrunner in the Republican nominating race for a reason. Palin is folksy and more than a little bit country, to coin a phrase, but she has a political mind as keen as Machiavelli’s, albeit tempered with Christian morality. Dunn is proving Palin’s point about Trump and by extension about her, that one underestimates the Donald at one’s peril. He has survived missteps and attacks that would kill any other politician. He may not go all the way, but so far he is plowing through with a grin on his face, a refreshing sight to behold.

Blog Title Change: "Palin-ism In the Presidency 2016"

Sharp-eyed readers will have noticed this site has changed from "Palin4President2016" to "Palin-ism in the Presidency 2016." I foreshadowed the possibility of this change in an earlier post;

"Updated:Palin To Put Supporters And Haters Out Of "Will She Run" Misery By (End) July?"

where I set out my reasons for believing that if Governor Palin had not declared a candidacy for the presidency by the end of July she was most likely not going to run.

July has come and gone and the basic premise that, in my opinion, no field structure, campaign staff and the usual accouterments of a run were not in place, she would most likely not be running-they appear nto to be and, again in my opinion she is not running for the 2016 nomination.

Her interview with Mark Levin where she stated:

"About her own political future Levin asked, "Would you ever consider running for office again? Whether it’s the Senate, whether it’s Governor, whether it’s President .. is that something you flirt with now and then? Or .. you’re done with it?"  Without providing any time frame, Palin answered "Oh, absolutely.  Yes absolutely.  I certainly love my freedom right now, oh my goodness it’s just heavenly .. But yes, certainly I would not be opposed to running for office at some point."

Makes it clear to me she has other priorities which C4P described, correctly in my opinion as:

"For now, the Governor appears focused on trying "to get good candidates all across the nation elected."  Palin emphasized that her PAC will continue to search for underdog candidates that aren’t "on anyone’s radar screen" and giving them a boost."

As I set out previously in my "credo" reproduced below this is not a "fan site" but a serious exploration of how to promote eternal conservative principles through the best possible vehicle, which vehicle is in my opinion, through Governor Palin and her supported candidates and support sites. This newly named site will continue, vehemently, to continue that quest through dedicated support of Governor Palin and her ideals, ethics and values.

If things change and Governor Palin decides to run I will of course change the title, and emphasis, back.
******************************************************

Whilst We Wait On Governor Palin-A Credo

As for myself I have enormously enjoyed writing about Palin for all these years, don't regret a moment of it (except for having at times to dialogue with obsessed idiots from the likes of "Immoral Minority.)
