Gov.Palin Follows In Ronald Reagan's Path By Hosting New Popular Television Show "Amazing America"

Ronald Reagan pursued a television career which included hosting and acting in an 'Americana" program "Death Valley Days" That kept his name in the public eye whilst assisting his "real American" outdoors persona and contributed to the "nice guy" image" which, rightly, kept with him throughout his later political career

"For the first 12 years, the show was hosted by a character called “The Old Ranger” played by Stanley Andrews. In 1964, Ronald Reagan took over as host and also appeared in acting roles. It was his last professional work as an actor before entering politics".

"Death Valley Days is an American radio and television anthology series featuring true stories of the old American West, particularly the Death Valley area. Created in 1930 by Ruth Woodman, the program was broadcast on radio until 1945 and continued from 1952 to 1970 as a syndicated television series, with reruns (updated with new narrations) continuing through August 1, 1975. Ronald Reagan became the host. He served in that position from 1964 to 1965 and it proved to be his final professional work as an actor. When Reagan entered politics"

"Excited to launch a new TV series in April on highlighting America's Red, Wild & Blue!"

Governor Palin is following the same path with an"outdoors "Americana" program of the type she is associated with which will hold her in good stead as the 2016 election draws near. Her critics will laugh and call her irrelevant but she has been down that path before and emerged not only wealthier but still in the public eye and in fact was hugely influential, after hosting a "reality show onTV in March 2010, in the 2010/2012 Congressional elections as she will be in the 2014.Palin always has the last laugh and this new televsion move will end up as her activites always do with her the winner.
