Richard Mourdock was not part of the messaging problem. He was asked a question and simply stood by his belief that he would choose life. In any other election cycle, his answer would have been a non-issue but it was poor timing following the Akin fiasco.
Todd Akin, however, is batshit crazy with his comments and should have dropped out of the race and let the GOP pick a candidate who could have won. Not only was his comments on rape flat out wrong and crazy but he attacked anyone and everyone that had wisdom to try and talk some sense into him and he attacked the top of the ticket which is a no no, period.
Chris Christie is nothing but a blowhard who hides his horrible record behind his Youtube fetish of yelling at union thugs. He hopes that we will be so entertained (and it is entertaining) that we won't notice that New Jersey has had their credit rating downgraded twice under his administration and that his record is actually horrible as Governor.
Romney lost because he simply couldn't turn out the vote. McCain/Palin turned out 2 Million more voters than Romney/Ryan did and that is all it would have taken to beat Obama this time around if you look at the numbers. Perhaps Romney should put some thought into what is was that McCain had that helped produce an extra 2 million votes, that helped create the tidal wave of the 2010 mid-term victories... here's a hint... she wears lipstick.
