Palin Authoritative, Presidential, Passionate On Akin

Governor Palin appeared Tuesday Night with Greta Van Susteren and discussed Todd Akin and why Sarah Steelman is needed to win this Missouri seat.

Former GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin told Fox News host Greta Van Sustern that Palin could support a third-party candidacy in Missouri.
Palin’s comments came in reaction to the storm surrounding Missouri GOP Senate candidate Todd Akin, who has refused to step down after making inflammatory remarks in a recent interview.
Leading figures in the Republic Party had called upon Akin to withdraw.
Palin said she would like to see former state treasurer Sarah Steelman – whom Palin campaigned for in the GOP primary – run as a third-party conservative against Akin and liberal Democrat Claire McCaskill, who is perceived as vulnerable.
Palin said she had not been asked by Steelman for her support in a third party bid, and would only get involved if Steelman asked. But by going on national television to, in effect, offer her services, Palin made clear she would welcome such an invitation.
I guess we could call it the Status Quo has Gotta Go Party,” Palin said.
We will do what we can to have a conservative win in Missouri. It’s winnable and it’s the key to winning the U.S. Senate.”
